In 2015, USCSC undergrads Andrea Horvath and Krystal Stevenson, with the support of UCSC Natural Reserves Manager Alex Jones and Director Gage Dayton, established a network of coverboards associated with the phenology litter traps to facilitate the study of population dynamics and distributions of herpetofauna. This is a great contribution to studying long-term change on in the UCSC Natural Reserve, as well as a resource for student and class research.
Please see the Herps on the FERP Monitoring Protocol for details.
As data accumulate, we will eventually add them to this site.
